MDSEL lunch with two nationally renowned Ed Advocates
After hearing the Supreme Court oral arguments in Forest Grove Public Schools v. T.A., members of the Maryland Special Education Lawyers, including Patrick Hoover and his team, joined up for lunch at B. Smith’s Restaurant at Union Station. Included at our lunch were Dr. Ruth C. Heitin, an educational consultant in Alexandria, Virginia and Pat Howey, an educational advocate from Indiana who also provides Wrightslaw trainings. You can find Dr. Heitin’s website here: http://www.educationalconsultingva.com/index.php. And you can find Pat Howey’s website here http://www.patriciahowey.com/ and http://spedconsulting.blogspot.com/
A fabulous lunch (though a bit slow on service -why did a salad arrive last?), great conversation – what could be better? Well, a good outcome in the FGPS v T.A. case of course. We will post that as soon as the Supreme Court presents its decision.
