Kids Suffer Too! Washington: Update/Reauthorize JJDPA, Please!
The shameful legislative ice age we are all living in affects children and teens as much as — or, perhaps, even more so than — adults. Since 1974, the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act has brought success and real benefit to our youth for generations. The old regulations still in place are no longer responsive or nearly as effective as revised regulations would likely bring to our communities.
