Student Rights: Maryland Attorneys Up Front!
When the Supreme Court heard the closely watched oral argument last Wednesday in Endrew v. Douglas County School District, a number of Maryland attorneys, close colleagues all, were present in support of this important appeal of the rights of disabled students. Congratulations to the dedicated mdsel (Maryland Special Education Lawyers) members who helped prepare the Amicus brief in support of disabled student’s rights and the proper construction of FAPE (free and appropriate public education) in our nation’s public school. And also for showing up in force and being seated up front before the justices who will decide this historic case.
