Montgomery County Anti-Gang Initiative

We are proud to endorse the recent grant proposal made on behalf of John McCarthy, the State’s Attorney for Montgomery County Maryland, to the Department of Justice and are pleased to have been able to aid in this worthwhile endeavor. Gang related juvenile crime has seen an alarming increase throughout the nation and Montgomery County has been no exception. In fact, gang related juvenile activity has been of great and increasing concern for some-time in our community. The RFP submitted by our SAO to DOJ, if granted, will provide for a full time investigator as well as a full time analyst to study, combat and overcome this growing concern. We applaud Mr. McCarthy and his office in their many efforts to proactively combat and fully address this vital community issue.
